A decade ago, this famous bubble tea was introduced in Indonesia. As a result, many people, including me, love and enjoy it any time anywhere.
Bubble tea is actually a tea with a twist. Usually, they add milk, fruits and the famous chewy-balls made from tapioca starch. Nowadays, you could find varieties combination. Even, they used jelly, from fruity jelly, coffee jelly or grass jelly. If you don’t like the milky one, you could always go with the original tea flavor. If you want something different, they do offers coffee, chocolate, taro and many more.
The past few years, the star has dimmed. It’s not that famous anymore but still there are some people enjoy it now and then.
To my surprise, the last couple of months, I wasn’t quite sure when it hits the market again, the King is back! Yes! You could enjoy the beauty of bubble tea from ‘Chatime’.
Chatime, original from Taiwan, offers another dimension of bubble tea. They emphasized on the concept of good healthy tea yet luscious. I got the chance to sipped and enjoy the beauty of their tea. I ordered Jasmine Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly and Taiwanese Plum Ice Tea with Aloe Vera.
Ok, what’s good about it, you could choose any toppings based on your reference. They also asked whether you want it less sugar or regular amount of sugar. And also another level of ice cube, less ice, without ice or just regular. Nice!
The Jasmine Milk Tea was mixed perfectly. Well balanced between the jasmine flavors with the milky taste. The coffee jelly itself perfectly beautiful. Right consistency and give some chewy texture in your mouth.

While the Plum Ice Tea, I found it too sour. I like sour but this one really hit the maximum level. I barely open my eyes while I sipped it. However, the strong plum flavor and clear tea-taste really refreshing. Plus the smooth aloe vera makes it one healthy enjoyable beverage.

Rumors said that they do offer a good Chatime Pearl Tea and Roasted Milk Tea. I’ll definitely will be back and have another one two three and even more sips!
