Lately in Jakarta, Japanese cuisine has taken a place in people`s heart. You`ll find many Japanese restaurants around the mall, office building and even in the suburb.

This time, I tried `Ocha`. You won`t find it in any malls. Take place in once building around Sunter area. As I walked in, it`s just like any ordinary restaurant. Simple yet comforting.

To satisfy my hunger, I ordered Salmon Sashimi, Cold Soba, Crunchy Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll. I like the service. It`s very quick!

When the Sashimi came, to my surprise, it`s massive cut of salmon! 7 big slices of thick salmon, fresh and looks appealing. I never ate a huge portion of salmon like this in anywhere I guess. This one is totally nailed it! The salmon was very fresh and smooth. I like it!

For the sushi, it didn`t really fit in my palate. The rice was too mushy. Thankfully, there`s some crunchy texture inside the crunchy roll. It helps me a bit to enjoy the sushi. The unagi was nice and seasoned well, not too sweet. The spicy salmon roll was nice. The spiciness is tickling your mouth. It`s not overpowered. With a little drizzle of fish roe, make it interesting. Too bad, I didn`t satisfy with the rice.
At that day, I was craving for soba almost a week. Finally, I did enjoy it to the max. When the cold soba arrived, I was drooling and couldn`t wait to try it. Yeah! It`s delish! The soba was cooked perfectly. I like it that way, just nice, smooth and not chewy. They served it with slices of Japanese Cucumber, Tamago, Shrimp and Kani. All the condiments were fresh and tasty. I ate it slowly and enjoy every dip of the soba with the mixed soyu-radish-sauce.

Here, they have quite plenty of food choices. Go try their Beef Teriyaki, I heard it`s one of their best!
