Flower Decoration 101
Here are some basic rules for Flower Decoration:
- As a beginner, just do a simple decoration, consists of 2 – 3 kind of flowers in grouping style.
- A must have item: FLORAL FOAM! Dip it in the water until fully covered, don’t push it.
- If you use a vase base, make sure it Is well covered with leaves.
- The arrangement of the flower must be well balanced and visible on each side.
- The flower could face any different angle, just make sure the whole arrangement is well balanced.
- If it is use as a centerpiece on the table, make sure you don’t cross the maximum border for the cutlery or dishes.
- The arrangement must be either below or above eye level. It can’t distract the viewpoint of a person.
- Must use a fresh and not easily withered flower.
- You need to cut the root.
- Not recommended to use a scented flower for centerpiece, it could ruin the scented of the food.
- Use a simple or in one tone color for the flowers.
- Make sure you cut the stem 2cm every day.
