Heaven on Earth!
For such a dessert sucker like me, I would traveling around the world looking for what I called ‘Heaven on Earth’. I then fell deep in the hole of Ninetynine. Recently, this is my favorite sugar high cave.
I’ve been there for quite several times, simply just enjoy their sweet indulgence. As I mentioned before in my two previous posts, I love the Steve’s Brownies Cake. Dropped dead gorgeous!...

Ungeeky in Library
Last week, I went to Bibliotheque for a lunch with my family. The restaurant was established around 2009. I’ve never went there before, so when Disdus offered a voucher, I bought it and gave it a try.
As you enter the restaurant, you will be astounded by the gigantic planted-library-wall. They used ‘library’ theme for the restaurant as that is the meaning of the restaurant in French. Massive...

In recent year, Jakarta’s culinary scene keeps on growing. Many new restaurants popping up here and there. As a foodie, it triggers me to keep on updating what’s going on in this industry. One that makes me curious is Otel Lobby.
It was first introduced by Erza. He tweeted about this restaurant few months ago. The last couple of weeks, Erza and Ve keep on spreading the news. There you go, it...

Difference
Everyone has their own ways.
We can’t say this is right, that is wrong.
We simply can’t judge it that way.
Slow, it’s not determine that it’s wrong. Fast doesn’t necessary means right either.
Everything has its guideline.
How a person achieve it, it’s their own choices.
And we have no right to force them do it with our ways.
We can’t compare what...

Hola España!
It’s been quite a long time I’m drooling over nice Paella. Here in Jakarta, it’s not easy to find one. There’s only a little of Spanish restaurant in the industry. Suddenly, my eyes stopped at ‘Tapas Movida’ while I read some magazine. Voila! A Spanish restaurant!!
No more hesitation, I arranged a little gathering with my fellow foodie. Finally, I can taste some exotic taste in my palate!...

Second Chance
They say everyone deserves a second chance. Just like any other people, I gave Luna Negra a second chance. The first time I went there, I didn’t have a good experience. Am not saying that they were bad, I’m just unsatisfied.
This time I ordered the Asian Sweet and Sour Salad with Grilled Beef (63k). I had this before too and keep looking for more. This is one of the great salads.
I ordered...

Table Setting 101
Here’s some basic knowledge for Table Setting.
1. Use white porcelain. It’s easy to mix and match with other color and give that ‘special’ effect.
2. Use some centerpiece like flower.
3. Tableware
Use place mat. If you don’t have that special place mat, use any kind of flat plate for the base. If it’s a formal occasion use the silver one.
Put the dinner plate on top of the place mat. If you...

Hello Dragon!
It’s the season of orange, candied fruits and basket cake. Yes! It’s Chinese New Year!
When it comes to Chinese New Year, you know, it’s the season full of feast. Days of eating very scrumptious-sometimes-oily meals.
The festive (for me) started around 2 weeks ago. I was invited to a special dinner hosted by Lai Ching - Four Seasons Jakarta.
Together with fellow foodie, we had an enormous 3-hours...
